THE WICKEDNESS OF MAN


In Julius Caesar Williams Shakespeare says that “Death, is a necessary end, it will come when it will come” but not in such manner that claimed the lives the entire family of 8 and a friend in a community called Umuakuru, Emekuku in Owerri, Imo State. Whether this family were gassed or was it as a result of natural cause for me, it is real disaster which the entire community will find difficult for a very long time in their history to get through. For some decades now Black man has advanced in diabolical means of killing their neighbours, friends, family members even their own siblings. Some called it “remote killing.” 

The wickedness of man has been in existence right from time in memorial this was as a result of greed, jealously, hatred and covetousness. Example of this was that of Cain’s case in the bible that killed his brother Abel because of his poor offering offered to God which was not accepted while Abel’s offering was accepted by God as a result of it Cain rebelled against God by killing his brother.

It’s very sad that upon the entire tantrum in religion which Black man has embraced the mind still conceals evil. Today, brother is killing one another because of greed and insatiable quest for power and materialism which resulted contempt toward each other.

It is obvious that man has lost its battle for supremacy of self control and allowed materials things to possess, and gets hold of him. Self conquer could only takes place when man realize that naked do we come into this world and naked shall we return back to our creator. All the earthly things both cars, millions dollars stacked in the bank account, mansions, etc will never accompany anyone to the grave, that day you’re on your own.

Man was the last thing created after all things were created by God which He gave man the control over all things, but unfortunately man abused the privilege and disobeyed God up till this day it has been crisis in man’s life.
God sending His son, Jesus Christ in the world for the salvation of mankind was a sign of a second chance He gave man to reconcile with Him even till now, some have not yet utilized this opportunity of reconciliation with Him instead, they allow devil to get hold and continue mesmerizing them.

Until Man shuns all ephemerals things that govern the flesh and seek things of the spirit the reconciliation between God and man will continue to eludes man.

THE AFTERMATH OF THE ELECTION AND A WAY FORWARD:

The 2011 Presidential election in Nigeria has come and gone. It will go down in the country’s chequered history as one of the bloodiest election ever held in Nigeria. Despite the irregularities by some polling stations, the international observers who monitored the election scored Nigeria a pass mark for how the election was conducted compared to the previous elections that were held, at least there was an improvement.
