“All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing."...Edmund Burke.

It’s never too late for President Jonathan to make a change despite the evil men that surrounds him coupled with those from other parties that is plotting his downfall. As it is right now there’s not yet credible leader from any of the political parties that can salvage Nigeria situation. All Progressive Conference (APC) weakness started right from the early days of its formation which the party is tailored with tugs, rogues, charlatans and reprobates. Am not living in Nigeria but with the information age distance is no longer a barrier for access to information and its dissemination therefore Nigerian news is at the finger tip.

The purpose of creating All Progressive Conference (APC) was to cut down the excesses of PDP and to plot its downfall in 2015 general election which led to some members of PDP including some governors to decamp but unfortunately the Buhari- Tinubu led parties could not coordinate well which resulted their self inflicted injury. APC is made up of self- centered individuals who are working against each other in order to achieve own self goals.

Muhammadu Buhari as one of the leaders of APC is been known as a man with proven integrity, a moralist, honest and sincere individual but his secularism might not be of interest to such a heterogynous nation like Nigeria. Buhari these days seems to be derailing due to the calibre of individuals that he clustered around himself coupled with lots accusation against him especially in the area of the nation’s security which is not good enough for a leader with mission objectives. Both PDP and APC cannot provide a quality leadership needed by Nigerians because these two parties has been infiltrated with same group of military cabals who squandered the nation’s commonwealth since after independence.

The Nation needs a leader without prejudice, a leader with mission objectives, a leader that would not compromised, a leader that would not come through back door and will not pay tithe to godfathers, a leader who would not find his hands tight in carrying out his duties, a leader who will follow the rule of law and abide by the constitution federal republic of Nigeria, a leader that will for once assured Nigerians security of lives and properties irrespective of any part of the country one may live. This is the type quality of leadership we need.

For PDP to soar in the next general election there should be re-birth and re-baptize by shunning all forms of criminality which surround the present administration. PDP then should usher in transparency and challenge Nigerians with good quality leadership. This is the only way the country can hope for better days ahead.
