MISINFORMATION ABOUT EBOLA DISEASE Written by Lucas Anuforo It beats my imagination when People talk about Ebola disease and its causes which many trace its root cause to “Bush Meat”. Question! Was it not the same chain food that has sust ained the rural African populace since ages? My history book thought me about the cave Men or the Early Men who were solely depended on bush meat and roots as source of protein for their survival. Even in Nigeria; people were still eating the so-called bush meat before a Liberian Diplomat imported the disease into the country which was recorded as the first Ebola case in Nigeria. We should stop being brainwashed by the foreign media. The sad part of it is that instead of our so-called scientists and doctors to work hard and find solutions to the problem rather they joined the media propaganda machine in creating moral panic. The fact remains that; the best way to keep any disease at bay is to maintain a good sanitary condition and also chec...

Short Story! THERE IS ALWAYS A LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL:

Written by Lucas Anuforo Email: peter.lemachi@yahoo.com Lydia Smith has cut niche for herself. Her dark brown skin that glows like an elite model with her beautiful smile and creative craft of handmade cloths, I can imagine her being flaunt on cover page of fashion magazine. She’s a Liberian from the Bong County, in the central region of Liberia. Lydia started very early in life as a young school girl who lost both her parents, mother died of cancer during the early years of the war in 1989 while her father died during the cause of the Liberian civil war of the 90s.  She moved into a refugee camp in Ghana with three of her younger siblings under the tutelage of Agnes Ducker a Liberian until she became 18. “There was no good medical service in place, even before the war started so the war made it worst. Though I know that if there were good medical care, may be enough drugs at the time of the war my old ‘Ma’ would have at least stayed more three years.”  She...
Nigeria needs a leader without prejudice: Written by Lucas Anuforo Email peter.lemachi@yahoo.com Dublin, Ireland. “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing."...Edmund Burke. It’s never too late for President Jonathan to make a change despite the evil men that surrounds him coupled with those from other parties that is plotting his downfall. As it is right   now there’s not yet credible leader from any of the political parties that can salvage Nigeria situation. All Progressive Conference (APC) weakness started right from the early days of its formation which the party is tailored with tugs, rogues, charlatans and reprobates. Am not living in Nigeria but with the information age distance is no longer a barrier for access to information and its dissemination therefore Nigerian news is at the finger tip.   The purpose of creating All Progressive Conference (APC) was to cut down the excesses of PDP and to plot its downfall in 2015 genera...
