FASHOLA’S ACTION A REMINDER TO NDIGBO:

“It was obvious that bigotry was never a one-way operation, that hatred bred hatred”   ...   Isaac Asimov .   Hatred, which could destroy so much, never failed to destroy the man who hated, and this was an immutable law. ... James A. Baldwin .   Governor Babatunde Fashola’s action by deporting the Igbos to their states will live indelible and painful memories in the hearts of many Nigerians for many years to come more especially the Igbo tribe. His action has once again reminded the Igbo about their painful path they’ve journeyed in the last 46yrs of the (Nigeria/Biafra) civil war. History has repeated itself. It’s time Ndigbo should have a rethink and start to withdraw their investments back to the East. I...

The Return Of Al- Mustapha:

Nigeria is a State; where evil are being paid for good. A society where charlatans, reprobates, rogue, criminals and rascals are rewarded for the evil well-done.The recent release of Major Hamza Al-Mustapha former Chief Security Officer(CSO) to the late former iron fist leader; General Sani Abacha is raising an eyebrow. Mustapha who served a lengthy period of incarceration (15 yrs) at Kirikiri Maximum prison for murder charges against him over the death of Kudirat Abiola the wife of the acclaimed winner of the June 12, 1993 presidential election late Chief, MKO Abiola. Mahatma Gandhi an Indian noble leader who warned the tyrant leadership of this evil world... saying “Remember that all through history, there have been tyrants and murderers, and for a time, they seem invincible. But in the end, they always fall. Always.”  On 30 th  January 2012 he was sentenced to death through hanging by the Lagos state High Court Judge Mojisola, Lateef Sofolahan under section 319 ...

"You haven't done well with your oil money."...Bill Clinton former US President.

I’ m so delighted on the recent remark made by the former US President Bill Clinton on how Nigerian leaders have not done well with the oil revenue. What I, was even much delighted was that President Clinton made this statement at the very presence of some of the so-called past and present leaders of Nigeria. It is very dishearten when some of these foreign Statesmen who’ve made mark in leadership come around instead; some of these reprobates’ leaders who’ve stripped and looted the our country’s wealth to repel themselves from these visitors they continue to showcase their foolishness as if they still have something to offer. Nigeria as a country has immense resources but unfortunately both past and the present leaders never deem it necessary to utilize the opportunities of these God-given endowments to better the life of average Nigerian. There’s an adage which says” if you want to be praised like a lion you must dance like a lion.” Today it is no longer how many years a l...

The Purpose of Christmas:

As I was busy doing my Christmas shopping in the mall today and I met an old woman who called my attention and told me that this year will be her 97 Christmas. And why this years’ Christmas is so special to her is because she has seen many ups and downs of life which never deny her the measures of living a fulfilled life. She said that Christmas is the celebration of the living.   It is time to ref lect on our union with Christ, a time of stocktaking and period of sober reflection. She finally handed me a box of chocolate and ask me to share it with my neighbours, she insisted and tasked me that I must share the box of chocolate with neighbours reason because she said, that it was same way Christ shared His love to us. And finally as she was going, she waved good bye to me and whispered to my ears that this might be her last Christmas to celebrate. I came to realize that life is not all about how long you lived but on how fulfilled you've lived life. Wishing all my friends Mer...

Nigerian Government Conspiracy with Foreign Oil Companies:

In every country there are laid down laws on how foreign companies should operate whereby the company does not follow the rules of the game there would be penalties for such organisation breaking the rules. In as much as the multi-national oil companies which operate in Nigeria such as Shell oil, Chevron, Mobil, Texaco and British Petroleum (BP) etc, opt for business they should operate within the sphere of Nigerian constitution and that of the United Nation Charter on environment. The UN Environmental Programme “Barcelona Convention” held in 16 February 1976 Article (2) define marine pollution as” introduction by man, directly or indirectly, of substances or energy into the marine environment resulting in such deleterious effects as harm to living resources, hazards to human health, hindrance to marine activities including fishing, impairment of quality for use of sea water and reduction of amenities.” Recently, four Nigerian farmers, backed by lobby group “Friends of the Earth...

THE WICKEDNESS OF MAN

In Julius Caesar Williams Shakespeare says that “Death, is a necessary end, it will come when it will come” but not in such manner that claimed the lives the entire family of 8 and a friend in a community called Umuakuru, Emekuku in Owerri, Imo State. Whether this family were gassed or was it as a result of natural cause for me, it is real disaster which the entire community will find difficult for a very long time in their history to get through. For some decades now Black man has advanced in diabolical means of killing their neighbours, friends, family members even their own siblings. Some called it “remote killing.”  The wickedness of man has been in existence right from time in memorial this was as a result of greed, jealously, hatred and covetousness. Example of this was that of Cain’s case in the bible that killed his brother Abel because of his poor offering offered to God which was not accepted while Abel’s offering was accepted by God as a result of it Cain rebelled ...
